A multiple sclerosis patient with a penchant for shooting, his physiotherapist who lives with a cat, Issel pigs and many other characters form a self-sufficient society that share a common fate. In The Park, Jul Gordon uses her unique graphic empathy and style to tell the story of a community living in mutual financial and emotional dependence on a housing estate with green spaces and a pond.
The Park was nominated for the Berthold Leibinger Foundation Comic Book Prize and was first published by the French independent publisher Association Na.
