Shorts is a new series of picture essays published by MamiVerlag since autumn 2022. In fine little booklets, illustrators talk about a topic of their choice.
Planned as a casual, visualising journey into Ivan's emotional world, it comes to a swift end when he realises that something is preventing him from being himself.
Ivan Schremf (*1998 in Biberach an der Riß) lives and paints in Hamburg. He is currently doing his BA in Illustration at HAW Hamburg, specialising in painting and comics. Ivan's comic ' Grandma's new friend ' is listed as one of the best comics of 2020 by The Comic Journal.
This comic is a project of the heart that was created in Sascha Hommer's course and Ivan is very happy about it!
